What we make

Every sign your business needs, under one roof.

Most businesses need more than one kind of sign: something on the building, something at the road, something on the trucks and something inside. Working with one shop keeps colors, fonts and logos consistent everywhere a customer sees your name.

Building & storefront signs

Channel letters, dimensional letters, lightboxes and awning or fascia signs that turn drive-by traffic into walk-in customers.

Monument & pylon signs

Freestanding signs that mark your property entrance, list tenants and stay readable from the road at speed.

Vehicle & fleet graphics

Full and partial wraps, fleet lettering and trailer graphics that put your brand in front of drivers all day.

Interior, ADA & wayfinding

Lobby signs, room identification, ADA-compliant tactile and braille signs, and directional systems for your facility.

Banners & trade show displays

Vinyl and mesh banners, retractable stands, pop-up displays and flags for launches, events and promotions.

Window & wall graphics

Storefront window lettering, perforated window film, frosted privacy vinyl and branded wall murals for offices and retail.

Planning a sign project

How to plan commercial signage that works

A good sign is read in a few seconds by someone who wasn’t looking for it. Getting there means thinking about where people will see the sign, what local code allows, and how the sign fits with everything else carrying your brand.

Where to start

  • Know your viewing distance. Letter height should match how far away — and how fast — people will be when they read the sign. Road signage needs much bigger copy than a lobby sign.
  • Check your lease and local code. Landlords, sign codes and HOAs often limit sign size, lighting and placement. We review these before design so nothing gets redrawn later.
  • Decide what has to be lit. If customers find you after dark or in winter afternoons, illumination is usually worth it on the primary sign.
  • Keep the message short. Your name and what you do. Phone numbers and long lists belong on windows, vehicles and print.
  • Plan the whole set together. Exterior, interior and vehicle graphics designed together look like one brand instead of five vendors.

What affects the cost

  • Size and construction. Fabricated aluminum and acrylic letters cost more than flat panels, and bigger signs need more material and labor.
  • Illumination. LED lighting adds components, power and wiring to the job.
  • Installation conditions. Mounting height, wall type, lift access and any electrical run all affect install time.
  • Permits and drawings. Many municipalities require engineered drawings and permit fees for permanent exterior signs.
  • Quantity. Multi-location orders and repeat items such as decals and banners lower the cost per piece.

Commercial signage questions, answered

Do you handle sign permits?

Yes. We prepare the drawings and site plans your municipality asks for, submit the permit application and coordinate with your landlord or property manager for approval.

Can you match our existing brand standards?

Yes. Send us your logo files, brand colors and any corporate sign guidelines and our in-house designers will build proofs that follow them. If you don’t have brand standards yet, we can help set them up.

Do you work with multi-location businesses and property managers?

We do. We can survey several sites, keep signage consistent across locations and schedule installs around your openings or tenant move-ins.

Do you offer sign financing?

Financing options are available so a new sign doesn’t have to come out of one month’s budget. Ask about it when you request your quote.

Which areas do you serve?

We’re based in Volo and serve businesses throughout McHenry, Lake and DuPage Counties in Illinois and Walworth County in Wisconsin.
